Roy P. Rendino is a senior real estate executive with broad experience, bringing creative solutions to business issues for both public and private companies, and organizations. His extensive experience includes public offerings, investment and market analysis, acquisition and financing due diligence, cash management, financial analysis, workouts, transaction structuring and systems for most segments of the industry, including office, industrial, hotels, retail, seniors housing and residential/multi-family.

Mr. Rendino is a Principal of Renmar Advisors, LLC and provides consulting and advisory services to real estate developers, owners and managers. These included turnaround/workout strategies, deal analysis, financing and investment presentations, system implementations and consultations on accounting and valuation issues. 

Mr. Rendino previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF). He also has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Pathway Senior Living, LLC, a developer, owner and operator of senior apartments and assisted living facilities, Senior Vice President–Finance of Prime Group Realty Trust, a publicly-traded REIT, and was also with Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he held positions including Partner and Midwest Director of Real Estate. While at Deloitte, he assisted with Mayor Daley’s Affordable Housing Task Force.

Mr. Rendino’s background serving as the CEO of a major industry association, in senior financial roles in public and private companies and as senior advisor to CEO’s in the industry as part of his role at a “Big Four” accounting and consulting firm, bring a unique perspective to consulting and board roles.

Mr. Rendino was a member of the governing council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of its Accounting Standards Executive Committee and its Real Estate Committee. He also has been a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Real Estate Companies (and was its President from 2002 to 2004), and a member of the board of directors and an officer of the Illinois CPA Society. 

Mr Rendino is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has served on the boards of several entrepreneurial companies. These include RealtyThinkTank.com, Broadpeak Collaborative, a consulting and services company, Silver Fox Broadband, a technology start-up and CareTree, a service provider to the healthcare industry.

Mr Rendino is a certified public accountant and a graduate of DePaul University, where he has served on the board of its accounting scholarship organization, Ledger & Quill.
