Planning for a Rainy Day Thursday, February 9, 2017 Breakfast 7:45 a.m. Program 8:15 – 9:30 a.m. Maggiano’s Little Italy 111 W. Grand, Chicago REIA Member – $35 Non-Member – $55 Student – $20 After 2/6/17 REIA Member – $45 Non-Member – $65 Student – $30 Valet Parking Available One painful lesson learned during the Great Recession was that it is too late to plan once a storm is on the horizon. Worse yet, once the storm hits, planning is irrelevant - you automatically go into reaction mode. Expending a little effort on planning during the good times can greatly improve your position if storm clouds should ever appear. We have assembled a panel of legal and banking experts to help investors understand the kinds of planning one could do when times are good. This panel will explore estate planning, asset protection planning and insurance alternatives, as well as some of the consequences that could arise from a failure to plan. This won’t be a panel chanting “The End is Near”. Rather, we hope to help you understand on how a little planning can help you capitalize on current market conditions. Come learn from this enlightening discussion. Moderator: Thomas Jaros, Director, REIA & Partner, Levenfeld Pearlstein LLC Speakers: Jerry Lumpkins, Vice President, BMO Harris Bank |
