In 1980, Mr. Finis founded Geneva Real Estate Corporation, to develop, own and operate investment real estate projects throughout the Midwest. In 1984, Mr. Finis co-founded Geneva Securities, Inc., a NASD Broker dealer, Geneva Securities, Inc., has originated and participated in the financing of independent living senior housing, nursing homes and other health care related facilities.

In 1996, Mr. Finis became a partner in the senior housing development firm of Associated Ventures, Inc. This firm is involved with the development and financing of affordable senior housing. In the late 1990’s, principals of Associated Ventures and Quality Care Nursing Home, formed Pathway Senior Living, LLC. Pathway acquires, develops and manages senior housing including senior apartments, independent living and assisted living. The company has been a leader in developing assisted living under the Illinois Supportive Housing Program, which utilizes Medicaid waivers for low income residents.

Mr. Finis has over 25 years experience as a developer, owner and manager of multi-family rental housing throughout the Midwest. Over this period, Mr. Finis has successfully developed or renovated nine multi-family projects totaling in excess of 500 units. In addition, Mr. Finis’ companies have been responsible for the management of a multi-family portfolio in excess of 2,000 residential units.

Mr. Finis currently serves on the Village of Inverness Zoning Board of Appeals. In addition, he is Vice-President and a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Inverness Park District. He received a Master in Management Degree (MBA) from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, majoring in both Real Estate and Finance. Mr. Finis received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 1978 from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana.
